Another literal take on an old idiom.
'Garbage in, garbage out' is one of the very first sayings ever instilled in me, and this is always what I pictured when my mother would say it. (I'm not sure that the figure being a puppet was a conscious decision at the time, but the significance seems fitting enough now that I think about it.)
The warning is just as sound today as it was when I was a child... Regardless of the subject matter, be careful what you ingest. It's bound to come back out of you again in some shape or form. ^_^

Actually Garbage In; Garbage Out is a phrase meaning that if you perform an action based on garbage information then the end results will be garbage too.
ie if you interrogate someone detained based on garbage intel, then anything you get out of him will be garbage.
